Star Wars Garden Gnome Turtle Time

So happy to encounter this turtle enjoying a walk inwards the pelting on my dorsum patio a distich of days ago:

I'm no herpetologist, only it looks similar an eastern box turtle to me.

Do y'all bring turtles inwards your garden?
